The Standard of Care for Canine Lyme Disease Screening
Rapidly screen for antibodies to the C6 peptide of Borrelia burgdorferi. This C6-specific test is the cornerstone of annual wellness exams in endemic areas, helping to identify exposure to the Lyme pathogen.

Lyme disease is one of the most common tick-borne diseases in North America and Europe. The Tashikin Lyme Ab Rapid Test is a qualitative immunoassay that detects antibodies to the C6 peptide, a specific immunodominant antigen of Borrelia burgdorferi. Using the C6 antigen provides a significant clinical advantage, as these antibodies are generated in response to natural infection, not vaccination. This makes our test a highly specific and valuable tool for annual screening and for the diagnostic workup of dogs with fever, lameness, or suspected Lyme nephritis.
Your Path to Effective Lyme Management:
Perform Annual Screening
The essential component of a yearly wellness exam for all dogs living in or traveling to Lyme-endemic areas.
Investigate Clinical Signs
The frontline test for any dog presenting with shifting leg lameness, fever, lethargy, or signs of protein-losing nephropathy.
Guide Further Action
A positive C6 antibody result confirms exposure and justifies further steps, such as urine protein screening and deciding on antibiotic therapy.
