The Tashikin CCV-CPV-Giardia Ag Combo Test is the veterinarian's first line of defense in the workup of acute canine diarrhea. This single cassette provides rapid, differential results for three of the most common infectious agents. Most critically, it allows for the immediate identification of Canine Parvovirus (CPV), enabling life-saving isolation and intensive supportive care. Simultaneously testing for Coronavirus and Giardia provides a more complete diagnostic picture, identifying co-infections and guiding specific treatment plans.
Your Path to a Rapid GI Diagnosis:
Test Every Diarrheic Dog
The essential frontline test for any dog, especially puppies, presenting with acute onset of diarrhea, vomiting, or lethargy.
Identify Parvo Immediately
A positive CPV result is a critical finding that dictates immediate action, including isolation, aggressive fluid therapy, and supportive care.
Detect Co-Infections
Identify co-infections with CCV or Giardia that can complicate a case of parvovirus or be the primary cause of clinical signs.

Collect Fecal Sample
Collect a fresh fecal sample from the dog using the provided swab.
Prepare Sample
Insert the swab into the assay buffer tube. Mix vigorously to ensure the sample is well-dissolved in the buffer.
Apply Sample
Using the dropper cap on the buffer tube, add 3-4 drops of the extracted fluid into the sample well (S) of the test cassette.
Read Results
Interpret the results for all three analytes at 10 minutes. Do not read results after 15 minutes.
Prevent Outbreaks in High-Risk Environments
In shelters, breeding kennels, and daycares, a single case of Parvo or Giardia can lead to a devastating outbreak. Logging your combo test results in VetEx.ai helps you monitor for infectious disease trends, manage quarantine protocols, and make data-driven decisions on sanitation and population health.
